Video Enhancer is a TensorPix product that can enhance the quality of your videos. There are many factors that affect video quality so we have designed Video Enhancer to focus on the aspects that are most important to users such as:

  • Increasing resolution (e.g. from SD to HD)

  • Removing video compression artifacts

  • Reducing blur

  • Reducing ISO and other types of noise

  • Increasing video framerate

  • Creating natural and smooth slow-motion videos

Uploading Files

To get started, first, open the TensorPix web application, and then select the Video Enhancer -> Uploaded menu time on the right.

Here you'll be able to upload your videos. Click on the Click to select video button to select and upload a video of your choice.

The video will immediately start uploading after you select it.

Upload time depends on your Internet provider's speed. We recommend an upload speed of minimally 4 Mbit/s, and 10 Mbit/s or more for optimal experience. Check your upload speed here.

Choosing Options

When the upload is finished, the app will load up the new page where you can select AI Filters and other options.

AI Filters are the core of the Video Enhancer. Each filter is made to tackle a specific video quality problem. For example, 200% AI Upscale filter is made to increase the video resolution by a factor of 2, while also increasing details. If your video has low resolution, this filter is perfect for you!

Learn more about each filter in the AI filters part of the Help Center.

If you click on the small dropdown arrow icon next to each filter, you will see more details about each filter, along with a visual example.

The next step is to identify which AI filters to apply to your video. Let's say that our video suffers from low resolution and is also noisy. In that case, we select the 200% AI Upscale and the Noise Reduction filters.

The are other options on this page, but we'll keep it simple and proceed with the default options. You can learn more about other options in the other Help Center articles. Now click on the Enhance button, and wait for the magic to happen.

Processing

The hard part of the job is done, now you just have to wait for the video to finish processing. You can see the processing progress if you click on the Processing tab in the sidebar on the left. Note that the Processing tab isn't visible if none of the videos are currently processing.

AI video processing is a very compute-intensive operation. We are always working on improving the processing speed, but longer videos and videos of higher resolution can still take a while to process, so we kindly ask for your patience.

You don't have to keep the TensorPix webpage open while your videos are processing. Go on take a walk, have a tea or coffee, scroll TikTok or Insta...

When the processing is finished, we'll send you an email so you'll immediately know the video is ready for download.

Downloading the enhanced video

Open the TensorPix app, and head over to the Enhanced tab in the left side menu.

Your enhanced videos should be listed here. Click on the Download button, or preview the video right in your browser. That's it, your video is now enhanced!
